Day 63, 01 August 2012 Dittisham to London!

Tower Bridge

London is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom, the largest metropolitan area in the United Kingdom, and the largest urban zone in the European Union by most measures. Located on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia, its history going back to its founding by the Romans, who named it Londinium. London's ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its square-mile mediaeval boundaries.

Since at least the 19th century, the name London has also referred to the metropolis developed around this core. The bulk of this conurbation forms the London region and the Greater London administrative area, governed by the elected Mayor of London and the London Assembly.

As the Team Lead of the World Tour For Children project, I am honored to thank our generous sponsors for their remarkable gifts and supports given to make this trip a truly successful one.

Special thank to our family members and friends, who gave us their best encouragements and supports, which we will treasure for the years to come.

I hope that this simple and yet challenging journey had raised certain level of homeless child welfare awareness among the public but I believe, there are more that need to be done if we want to make this world a better place for them.

Supporting the good causes of Borneo Child Aid, Malaysia is just the beginning of our little project. We aim for the WORLD!

All the best,
