Day 41/ 42, 10 and 11 July 2012 Ferry "Kapa"

Caspian Sea at last!

We finally received instruction to board the ferry "Kapa" at 2100hrs on 10 July 2012. The process was rather simple minimum formality.

Entering the "Kapa" from stern ramp

The only thing we needed was the Immigration exit stamp on our passport and thereafter we boarded a van provided by the port services to bring us to the "Kapa".

Our cabins with clean sheets and basin

The next day, the team members were in high spirit and most of us were excited because this was the first time most of us been travelling in a commercial vessel.

Mess Room

The staff onboard were friendly and accommodating and the meals onboard cost us USD6/day.

We did not sail until 1430hrs on 11 July 2012 due to poor visibility.
